The cover is still in progress but I did look at covers of different magazines. The covers I researched were very helpful in what specifically I wanted for my cover. Being a dessert magazine usually covers will feature the main recipe in the cover with bright colors. The font is also bright colored to grab the readers attention. The magazines all had similar covers expect Sauveur which has a simpler approach to their covers. Sauveur's website actually had an article about how to make a good magazine cover! I was delightfully surprised at this discovery. This helped me realize how covers are actually hard work for these companies. Also, helping me realize the color, placement, fonts, and realistic pictures matter for a cover. The article includes a video on what the team goes through to create a cover. This article is 100% recommendable to anyone doing this project.
